losing weight

There's no such thing as mindless weight loss.
Losing weight is about making the right choices, every single day, in a variety of different situations. If the weight isnt coming off as you expect, that doesn't mean you should throw in the towel - if you know youve been doing everything *right* ... keep at it!  There are other changes happening also. Good healthy changes, within our bodies, the invisible improvements we dont visually 'see', so dont notice quite so much.... that are worth MUCH more than our physical appearance.
Looking good should be the side effect of training, not the goal. The goal should be making your body functional, and getting healthy.

So, to be the healthiest you can be, takes a focused effort - it's easy to do sometimes, the majority of us know whats right and wrong when it comes to making good choices for our bodies - and we know when we do it *right* the benefits are enormous! We feel good. we are alert, we are feeling clean, healthy, alive, we are full of energy ... but we also know, some days, we come up against it ... and it can be damn hard work, occasionally. If you know, deep down, you havent made good choices sometimes, then you have to make sure you get yourself back on track. Not tomorrow. Not next week. Not on January the 1st. Right this moment!
Focus. Consistency. Good food choices. Good exercise routine. It IS as simple as that. Most people fail either in the dedication department (consistency of exercising) or in the diet department. Without consistency, diet, and training in check - you won't get the results you are after. So make sure you are working just as hard, in all areas, and reap the benefits :)
