Yet another amazing year has come and gone, which brings to
reflection how grateful I am for what you all bring to my life. All of you are
hard charging and action taking and not a day goes by that I'm not blown away
by what everyone is accomplishing and the changes that are undertaken and
achieved. All with a dogged expectation and attitude of 'I can' and 'I will' -
even when things get tough.
When I look through the albums on facebook I am so impressed
- the Warriors albums (2013, 2012 ) the mud sessions (kelsey oct, kelsey feb, emerald ) the breakfast sessions (2014 december, november, october - and check in the albums section for many more) even
individual pics (clients, beautiful days,) - all show a lot of laughs and smiles we have had together.
Memory driven.
The Lighten the Load album shows an incredible and amazing
group of women (and 1 man ;) ) who overcame fears and entered the gym, ready to
change their lives and currently still doing so. Impressive.
Without you all there would be no me as we know it. So thank
you for that... and, for putting your trust in me.
Thank you also for all the encouragement and well wishes I
have received for my knee op. I have had a 'fabulous' recovery. A generously
oversized bandage from an exuberant surgeon and good instruction (which I
followed) was testament to a quick recovery. Alongside a huge support from
Nicola while in hospital who had to deal with a very emotional me!? Unsure why.
But a good patient, I am not. thank you.
Only a little swelling and bruising and, after some pool walking/running/exercise over the past few days followed by a (light weights) pump class this morning at the gym, am back on the mend!

Where I am currently staying I have no phone/text reception,
but texts do come through (eventually) when I head into town. My apologies for
those (many) that may have sent texts but did not receive timely replies.
I do have (intermittent) wifi available so you can always
send me a message via facebook if required, which at the moment I am more
likely to receive.
We start back fully on Saturday 4th January with the Lighten
the Load group 02 - 4 weeks to finish off! 7am meeting at Prossy. I am unsure
at this stage whether to hold another Lighten the Load group but will let
everyone know as plans evolve over the next couple of weeks.
PT's start back on Monday the 6th. For those not still away
and starting back on this date, if I haven't arranged a session for you please
let me know. However, I am doing some PT's (a few asked and because I no longer
went away), this coming Tuesday (31st December). If you wish to have a session and I don't have your name down please let me know and we will see
work out a suitable time if possible.
For those interested in doing the Emerald Mud Run (22nd
february) and have spoken to me I need name, email, phone and entry fee in by
Tuesday evening (31st). We can work 'teams' out later once we know how many of
us will head out there. Even though they are fully booked Kirsty has been in
contact with me to allow a few of us to do it again (that is hush hush! ;) ).
They are thankful for our support last year for their first event and hope that
we may continue to support them. Please let me know.
I also have another challenge on the way that I have been
working on over the Christmas period and with Kerrin supporting myself and the
idea, it will be a goahead! So stand by as it will be fun to get involved and
supporting a great cause, combining two elements of life I am vocal about -
depression and exercise - and the benefits one gives to the other.
I have a sneaky suspicion that 2014 will bring continuing
great results for you all. :D The best is yet to come! So cheers to an amazing
2014. A new year of opportunity, adventure, and excitement await!
For those that I won't see beforehand, make New Year's Eve a
safe celebration and bring in that new year with a hungry vengeance for healthy
success. Make the only single resolution necessary - one of - continuous daily
improvement!
